Human GLT25D1/COLGALT1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the in vitro quantitative determination of human GLT25D1 (COLGALT1) concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. GLT25D1, also known as procollagen galactosyltransferase 1, hydroxylysine galactosyltransferase 1, and glycosyltransferase 25 family member 1, is a beta-galactosyltransferase that transfers beta-galactose to hydroxylysine residues of collagen. It belongs to the glycosyltransferase 25 family and plays a role in collagen biosynthesis and post-translational modification, with relevance to connective tissue and musculoskeletal research.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.094ng/ml and a standard range of 0.156-10ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery averages were 92% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma, and 96% in UFH plasma. Serial-dilution linearity ranged from 82% to 103% across the tested matrices. Intra-assay CV is reported as less than 8% and inter-assay CV as less than 10%.
