Human GLDL/Glycated Low Density Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of glycated low density lipoprotein (GLDL) in human samples. The assay supports research into atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease, where elevated GLDL has been associated with increased cardiovascular risk.

Colorimetric detection is performed using TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 9.375 ng/mL with a measuring range of 15.625–1000 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

The procedure includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB development in the dark for 10–20 minutes before addition of stop solution and absorbance reading. Reported recovery is 88–98% (average 93%) in serum, 89–98% (average 92%) in EDTA plasma, and 87–105% (average 95%) in heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 89–103% to 81–95% in serum, 88–105% to 80–100% in EDTA plasma, and 85–104% to 82–93% in heparin plasma.
