Human GKN2/Gastrokine 2 ELISA Kit

GKN2 is involved in mucosal protection, cell regeneration, and maintenance of a healthy gastric lining, and its dysregulation has been linked to gastritis, gastric cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease. The kit reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. Validated recovery values include averages of 99% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma (n=5). Reagents are intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow follows a sandwich ELISA protocol with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
