Assay Genie's GJB6 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Connexin 30 (Cx30), a gap junction protein encoded by the GJB6 gene on chromosome 13q12. Research applications include investigating autosomal dominant non-syndromic hearing loss (DFNA3), Clouston hidrotic ectodermal dysplasia, and gap junction-mediated intercellular communication. The 96-test colorimetric assay provides pre-coated capture antibody wells, reference standards, detection reagents, and buffer concentrates for in vitro research use. A 100 uL sample volume is loaded per well, with absorbance readings interpolated from a standard curve to quantify Connexin 30 concentrations.
