Human Ghrelin ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of Ghrelin in human serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. Based on sandwich ELISA technology, the assay uses a pre-coated capture antibody and a biotin-conjugated detection antibody, with HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate producing a colorimetric signal that is read at 450 nm.

The assay has a working range of 1.875–120 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 1.125 pg/ml. Ghrelin is also referenced by aliases including Appetite-regulating hormone, Growth hormone secretagogue, GHRL, and MTLRP (Uniprot Q9UBU3).

For research use only, the kit is shipped on ice packs and requires additional laboratory equipment such as a 37 °C incubator and a plate reader equipped with a 450 nm filter.
