Human GGA1 ELISA Kit (HUFI04132)

The Human GGA1 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of the Golgi-associated adaptor protein GGA1 (Golgi-localized, gamma adaptin ear-containing, ARF-binding protein 1) in human research samples.

GGA1 functions as a clathrin adaptor at the trans-Golgi network, facilitating sorting of mannose 6-phosphate receptors into transport vesicles that deliver lysosomal hydrolases to endosomes. The kit supports investigation of vesicular trafficking, receptor-mediated sorting, and endosomal-lysosomal biology. Researchers studying neurodegenerative pathways—particularly work on BACE1 modulation and amyloid precursor protein processing—use GGA1 quantification to probe trafficking mechanisms relevant to Alzheimer's disease.
