Human GFM1/Elongation factor G, mitochondrial 1 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human GFM1 (Elongation factor G, mitochondrial 1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format achieves a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL with a quantitative range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL, and reactivity is confirmed for human samples. The kit is positioned for metabolism research, supporting investigation of GFM1, a mitochondrial GTPase involved in translation elongation whose dysregulation is associated with mitochondrial disorders, neurodegenerative disease and metabolic disorders.

Validated performance characteristics include recovery of 88–100% (serum, n=5), 86–103% (EDTA plasma, n=5) and 88–103% (heparin plasma, n=5), and linearity at 1:2 dilution of 85–99% in serum, 87–96% in EDTA plasma and 86–99% in heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The pre-coated plate workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin binding and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
