The GTP-binding protein GEM is a member of the Ras-related small GTPase superfamily that regulates intracellular calcium homeostasis, cytoskeletal dynamics, and downstream signaling from receptor tyrosine kinases. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie is configured for the human GEM protein and is intended for research applications in signal transduction, T-cell biology, and oncology, where altered GEM expression has been linked to proliferation and cytoskeletal phenotypes.
