Human GDF7 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human GDF7 (growth differentiation factor 7) using a double-antibody format with a colorimetric readout. It is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

GDF7 is a member of the TGF-beta superfamily and plays a key role in skeletal development, cell differentiation, and tissue repair. Dysregulation of GDF7 has been linked to joint diseases, skeletal disorders, and certain cancers, supporting its relevance as a potential biomarker for disease diagnosis and therapeutic development. The kit delivers a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL.

Performance has been validated for linearity and recovery in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Linearity ranges across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions are 86–101% / 84–94% / 80–99% for serum (n=5), 89–100% / 83–100% / 82–94% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 86–103% / 83–101% / 82–100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges and averages are 88–99% (93%) for serum, 85–105% (90%) for EDTA plasma, and 87–98% (91%) for heparin plasma. Unopened kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
