Human GDF11 (Growth Differentiation Factor 11) CLIA Kit (HUES01053)

A chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human Growth Differentiation Factor 11 (GDF11) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit uses a Sandwich-CLIA format on a pre-coated micro CLIA plate: standards or samples are added to wells coated with a GDF11-specific antibody, then a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin–Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively. After washing, a substrate solution is added and the relative light unit (RLU) value is read on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer; the RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human GDF11 in the sample.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 4.69 pg/mL, a detection range of 7.81-500 pg/mL and an assay time of 3.5h using a sample volume of 100µL.
