Human GDF1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Growth Differentiation Factor 1 (GDF1) using a double-antibody detection principle. The assay is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of the stop solution.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL across a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 for serum (85–99%, 91–101%, 85–101%), EDTA plasma (84–98%, 84–101%, 86–101%), and heparin plasma (83–94%, 82–97%, 82–94%), each with n = 5. Spike-recovery performance is reported for serum (range 93–102%, average 97%), EDTA plasma (range 94–105%, average 98%), and heparin plasma (range 85–99%, average 91%), each with n = 5.

Unopened kit components should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for 12 months. The assay workflow comprises a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, and 10–20 minutes of TMB colour development in the dark.
