Human GBP5 ELISA Kit (HUFI04145)

Guanylate-binding protein 5 (GBP5) is a 67 kDa interferon-induced GTPase central to cell-autonomous immunity in humans. Strongly upregulated by interferon-gamma, GBP5 contributes to host defense against intracellular pathogens including Toxoplasma gondii and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and it promotes NLRP3 inflammasome assembly and pyroptotic cell death. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie is built to measure GBP5 in human research specimens, supporting studies in innate immunity, infectious disease, and chronic inflammation. The kit provides a microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, together with standards, detection reagent, and wash buffer supplied in individual vials. Reagent components are shipped refrigerated and should be stored refrigerated until first use, protected from light, with working dilutions prepared fresh to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
