Human Gastrokine-2 (GKN2) ELISA Kit

Manufacturer-reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 20pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 5.2% CV and inter-assay precision is 9.6% CV. Recovery averages 97% for serum (range 91-103%) and 99% for plasma (range 93-105%). Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

GKN2 is produced in gastric surface mucous cells, where it forms a disulfide-linked heterodimer with TFF1 and interacts with TFF2, contributing to regulation of cell proliferation and mucosal integrity. The UniProt accession is Q86XP6 and the molecular weight is 20,487 Da. The kit detects natural and recombinant human Gastrokine-2 and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.
