CCKBR, also known as Cholecystokinin-2 receptor (CCK2-R) or CCK-B receptor, is a G-protein coupled receptor for gastrin and cholecystokinin (UniProt P32239). It plays a role in regulating satiety, gastrointestinal motility and the release of digestive enzymes, and its dysregulation has been linked to various digestive disorders. According to the supplier, isoform 2 is constitutively activated and may regulate cancer cell proliferation via a gastrin-independent mechanism.
