Human GAS1/Growth arrest-specific protein 1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit provides colorimetric, double-antibody detection and quantification of human Growth arrest-specific protein 1 (Gas1). The kit is designed for high sensitivity and specificity, supporting reproducible measurement of this key regulator of growth, cell cycle control, cell proliferation, and differentiation.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay achieves a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with reagents stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity has been established for serum (85–104%), EDTA plasma (82–99%), and heparin plasma (81–103%) across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5). Recovery ranges from 86–103% across the same matrices, averaging 95% for serum, 92% for EDTA plasma, and 90% for heparin plasma.

Gas1 dysregulation has been linked to cancer and developmental disorders, making it an important biomarker for cell cycle research (UniProt P54826).
