Human Gamma-secretase subunit APH-1A (APH1A) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of human Gamma-secretase subunit APH-1A (APH1A), this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for research use only. It detects natural and recombinant human APH1A and is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric.

The assay has a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.78 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.5% and inter-assay CV is 7.9%. Linearity is confirmed in serum (87-115% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (90-120%) and heparin plasma (99-118%). Recovery in serum averages 100% (range 94-106%) and in plasma averages 102% (range 96-108%).

APH1A is a non-catalytic subunit of the gamma-secretase complex, an endoprotease that cleaves integral membrane proteins including Notch receptors and amyloid precursor protein (APP), and is required for normal gamma-secretase assembly.
