Human Gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase 1/GGT1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase 1 (GGT1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, it supports research into metabolism, biochemistry, pharmacology, and clinical medicine, where GGT1 serves as a biomarker for liver and kidney disorders.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a detection range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity has been validated in serum (87–101% at 1:2, 85–105% at 1:4, 85–92% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (92–100%, 85–99%, 82–98%), and heparin plasma (82–96%, 84–98%, 84–95%). Recovery ranges from 89–105% in serum, 89–98% in EDTA plasma, and 87–103% in heparin plasma.

GGT1 is an enzyme involved in glutathione metabolism, xenobiotic detoxification, and cellular redox balance. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, and the workflow uses TMB substrate with absorbance measured at 450 nm following a 37°C incubation protocol.
