Human Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor subunit alpha-3 (GABRA3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of human Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor subunit alpha-3 (GABRA3) levels in samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, as well as tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples. It detects natural and recombinant human GABRA3, with a reported detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.429 ng/mL, supported by intra-assay CV of 5.1% and inter-assay CV of 7.8%.

Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with average recovery of 95% in serum (range 89–101%) and 97% in plasma (range 91–103%). GABRA3 is a critical component of the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors in the brain, playing a role in regulating inhibitory neurotransmission, and its dysregulation has been linked to conditions such as epilepsy, anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia. The kit is intended for research use only, is stored at –20°C, and is shipped at +4°C.
