Human Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor subunit alpha-2 (GABRA2) ELISA Kit

A reliable colorimetric ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantification of human Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor subunit alpha-2 (GABRA2), also known as GABA(A) receptor subunit alpha-2. Intended for research use only, the kit supports neuroscience research into GABA-A receptors — ligand-gated chloride channels that mediate inhibitory neurotransmission and have been implicated in conditions including epilepsy, anxiety, addiction and alcohol dependence.

The kit is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human GABRA2. It offers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%.

Linearity has been assessed across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
