Human GALNS/N-acetylgalactosamine-6-sulfatase ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, the Human GALNS / N-Acetylgalactosamine-6-Sulfatase ELISA Kit is a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay designed for quantitative detection of GALNS in human samples. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for cell biology research, including studies of glycosaminoglycan metabolism and lysosomal storage disorders such as Morquio syndrome.

The assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Colorimetric detection is achieved using a TMB substrate with absorbance measured at 450 nm following HRP-Streptavidin binding. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is: Serum (n=5) 86-105%, 85-103%, 86-105%; EDTA Plasma (n=5) 82-95%, 84-98%, 84-100%; Heparin Plasma (n=5) 86-100%, 85-99%, 82-99%. Recovery ranges are 85-105% for serum (average 91%), 90-105% for EDTA plasma (average 98%), and 88-105% for heparin plasma (average 97%).
