Human Galectin-9 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, supplied under the PharmaGenie range, designed for the detection of human Galectin-9. The kit is built around a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair and a purified recombinant protein standard, with pre-coated strip plates, biotinylated secondary antibody, streptavidin-HRP and TMB substrate supplied alongside buffers, standards, controls where applicable, stop reagents and a detailed procedure. Reagents are validated under ISO 9001:2000 quality systems, standards are calibrated to NIBSC, and the assay recognises both natural and recombinant antigen with no cross reactivity against other cytokines tested. The kit is developed with pharmaceutical and biotech research applications in mind.

Quantitative performance is defined by an assay range of 500 - 15.6 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 8 pg/ml, using a sample size of 50µl / 100µl with a total incubation of 3h45. The kit is reactive with human samples and is validated for cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma, with no cross reactivity against GM-CSF, MICB, IL-34, IFNg, IL-29, Galectin-1, Galectin-3, Galectin-8 or Galectin-10. Galectin-9 is also referenced by the aliases HUAT, Ecalectin and LGALS9.
