Galectin-7 (LGALS7) is a 15 kDa beta-galactoside-binding lectin that regulates keratinocyte differentiation, epithelial apoptosis, and p53-mediated stress signaling, and the Assay Genie Human GAL7 ELISA Kit delivers a quantitative in vitro measurement platform for this biomarker in human research specimens. Investigators studying squamous-cell carcinoma, autoimmune skin conditions, wound healing biology, and tumor microenvironment signaling use this assay to assess endogenous galectin-7 concentrations in blood-derived samples and tissue-derived supernatants.

Each kit is supplied as a complete research-use-only package containing pre-coated microplate strips, calibrated reference standards, biotinylated detection reagents, and chromogenic substrate. Components are packaged in individual vials to support a single-use workflow and minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles that could compromise antibody binding activity. Standard curves are generated from a serial dilution series, enabling interpolation of unknown sample concentrations in pg/mL.

Assay Genie manufactures the kit under validated batch quality protocols and ships each order with a lot-specific certificate of analysis. The assay is intended for trained laboratory personnel familiar with manual wash protocols, standard curve generation, and chromogenic plate reading. For laboratories investigating epithelial cell biology, galectin signaling pathways, or biomarker discovery in dermatological and oncological research, this kit offers a reproducible tool for quantitative protein measurement.
