Human GADD153/DDIT3 ELISA Kit

GADD153, also known as DDIT3, is a stress-responsive transcription factor involved in cellular responses to stress stimuli including endoplasmic reticulum stress. Dysregulation of GADD153 has been implicated in cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research into stress-related disease mechanisms within the cell death research area. The associated UniProt accession is P35638.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 87-105% for serum, 82-101% for EDTA plasma, and 80-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Average recovery ranged from 90-96% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.
