Human GABRB1 ELISA Kit (HUFI04188)

This Assay Genie colorimetric ELISA enables quantitative measurement of human GABRB1, the beta-1 subunit of the GABA-A inhibitory receptor central to fast synaptic inhibition in the central nervous system. The kit supports neuroscience research into epilepsy susceptibility, autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia, and GABAergic drug pharmacology, where altered GABRB1 expression has been documented in patient cohorts. Each package contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant human GABRB1 standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, concentrated wash buffer, chromogenic substrate, and stop solution. Reconstituted standards and concentrated conjugate should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 degrees C, while the remaining components are kept refrigerated at 4 degrees C until first use to preserve shelf life. The protocol runs at room temperature over approximately 3.5 hours and is labeled for research use only, not for clinical diagnostic applications.
