Human GABA/Gamma-aminobutyric acid ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Human GABA/Gamma-aminobutyric acid in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The detection method is colorimetric, with absorbance measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader, and the microplate is pre-coated with a specific antigen. The procedure follows a double-antigen sandwich ELISA workflow using biotin-labeled antigen, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin, and a TMB substrate.

Reported sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL, with an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions across serum (n=10: 87-102%, 91-104%, 96-104%), EDTA plasma (n=10: 83-100%, 86-97%, 84-101%) and heparin plasma (n=10: 81-95%, 93-100%, 97-100%). Recovery ranges are 86-98% (serum, n=10, average 91%), 87-98% (EDTA plasma, n=10, average 91%) and 86-104% (heparin plasma, n=10, average 93%). The kit should be stored sealed at 2-8°C and not cryopreserved.
