Human G1/S-specific cyclin-D2 (CCND2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human G1/S-specific cyclin-D2 (CCND2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is intended for research use only, supporting studies in Development Biology where cyclin D2 serves as a regulator of the G1/S phase transition and a relevant biomarker in disease research.

The kit reports a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 15.61 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 6.1% and inter-assay precision is 8.2%. Linearity was assessed in serum (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, yielding recoveries of 95-105%, 92-104%, 96-106% and 101-113% respectively; in EDTA plasma (N=5), corresponding ranges were 89-99%, 104-113%, 107-117% and 87-100%; and in heparin plasma (N=5), 98-108%, 100-109%, 105-116% and 80-88%. Recovery testing gave an average of 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant human G1/S-specific cyclin-D2.
