Human FUT7 ELISA Kit (HUFI04216)

FUT7 (Fucosyltransferase 7) is the alpha-1,3-fucosyltransferase that performs the terminal fucosylation step on N-acetylglucosamine, generating sialyl Lewis X (sLex) and related selectin ligands required for leukocyte rolling, lymphocyte homing, and inflammatory recruitment. The Assay Genie FUT7 microplate immunoassay enables quantification of human FUT7 for research into selectin-ligand biosynthesis and immune-cell adhesion.

Each plate provides 96 Assays, with all reagents included for a complete run: pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, standards, streptavidin conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. The protocol calls for 100 uL of diluted sample per well; the working assay is performed at room temperature with incubation periods that allow a chromogenic readout on a standard plate reader. Reconstituted reagents are kept refrigerated and protected from light, while unopened components are stored at -20°C with limited freeze-thaw cycles recommended to preserve activity.

FUT7 is a frequent target in studies of breast, colon, and lung carcinoma glycosylation, neutrophil extravasation models, and the rare congenital disorder of glycosylation type IIc (leukocyte adhesion deficiency type II). For research use only.
