Human FUT3/CD174/Fucosyltransferase 3  ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human FUT3 — also known as CD174, FT3B, FucT-III, Les or Lewis FT — a fucosyltransferase enzyme implicated in cell adhesion and signalling, and in disease processes such as cancer, inflammation and immune disorders. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a colorimetric readout, employing a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and a TMB substrate, with absorbance measured after colour development.

The kit is intended for use with human samples including serum, plasma, cell or tissue lysate, cell culture supernatant and other liquid samples, with a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL and a limit of sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL. Recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is reported at 86–102%, 86–97% and 85–101% respectively, and linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions of these matrices is demonstrated in the product specifications.

Storage is at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months. The procedure involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, a 60-minute incubation with the biotin-labelled detection antibody, 30 minutes with HRP-Streptavidin, and 10–20 minutes of TMB colour development in the dark before stop solution is added and the plate is read at 450 nm.
