Human Fucosyltransferase 3 (FUT3) ELISA Kit

The FUT3 gene encodes a Golgi-resident type II transmembrane glycosyltransferase that catalyzes alpha-1,3 and alpha-1,4 fucosylation of terminal sugar residues on glycoproteins and glycolipids, driving synthesis of Lewis a, Lewis b, and sialyl-Lewis a antigens. Variants in this locus underlie the Lewis-negative blood group phenotype and have been investigated as biomarkers in colorectal, pancreatic, and gastric cancer studies, as well as in Helicobacter pylori adhesion research.
