It is a colorimetric sandwich-ELISA with an assay time of 3 h 30 min and a sample volume of 100 μL; the manufacturer lists storage at 2-8°C, with certain components specified for storage at -20°C.

Stated performance figures are a sensitivity of 0.94 mIU/mL, a detection range of 1.56-100 mIU/mL and recovery of 80%-120%. Matrix testing gave a recovery range of 90-101% with an average of 95% in EDTA plasma and 92-103% with an average of 97% in cell culture media. Reported intra-assay CV values were 4.22%, 6.23% and 5.76%, and inter-assay CV values were 8.66%, 8.47% and 6.5%.
