Human Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase B (ALDOB) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase B (ALDOB), also known as Liver-type aldolase or ALDB, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. ALDOB is a key glycolytic enzyme with documented links to metabolic disorders, liver disease and certain cancers, which makes it a candidate biomarker for translational and clinical research.

The colorimetric assay has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.4pg/mL. Reproducibility is reported as an intra-assay CV of 7.1% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity was evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with measured ranges of 85-113% for serum, 84-121% for EDTA plasma and 84-117% for heparin plasma. Mean spike recoveries were 97% for serum (range 91-103%) and 99% for plasma (range 93-105%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase B and is supplied for research use only.
