Human Frizzled-4 (FZD4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the detection of human Frizzled-4 (FZD4), also referenced by the synonyms Fz-4, FzE4 and CD344. The assay is reactive with human samples and is specific for natural and recombinant human Frizzled-4.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The reported detection range is 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.22ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.5% and inter-assay CV is 7.4%. Recovery is 93% (range 87-99%) for serum and 95% (range 89-101%) for plasma.

Frizzled-4 functions as a receptor for Wnt proteins and is coupled to the beta-catenin (CTNNB1) canonical signaling pathway, playing a critical role in retinal vascularization via binding of Wnt proteins and norrin (NDP).
