Human Frizzled-3 (FZD3) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit for the measurement of human Frizzled-3 (FZD3) levels in human samples. The assay targets Frizzled-3, a receptor protein coupled to the Wnt signaling pathway that is implicated in cellular processes including proliferation, differentiation, and migration. Intended for research use only, the kit is suited to serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Frizzled-3.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.23ng/ml. Intra-assay CV is reported at 4.2%, with inter-assay CV at 8.1%. Recovery values are 95% for serum (range 89-101) and 97% for plasma (range 91-103). Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.

Dysregulation of the Wnt signaling pathway has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders, and developmental abnormalities, supporting the kit's use in cancer research and broader studies of Wnt signaling. The target protein is also involved in central nervous system development, axon guidance, neural crest cell migration, and planar cell polarity in the inner ear.
