Human FOXO3 (Forkhead Box Protein O3) CLIA Kit (HUES00648)

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human Forkhead box protein O3 (FOXO3; also known as FOXO3A, FKHRL1 and AF6q21 protein) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant human FOXO3 across a working range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL, and intra- and inter-assay CV of 4.1% and 8.2% respectively.

In dilution linearity testing, serum samples recovered between 83% and 117% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, EDTA plasma between 86% and 116%, and heparin plasma between 86% and 116%. Recovery averaged 95% (range 89–101%) for serum and 97% (range 91–103%) for plasma. FOXO3 is a forkhead-family transcription factor that triggers apoptosis in the absence of survival factors and is a focus of cancer research.
