Human FoxC1/Forkhead Box Protein C1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human FoxC1 (Forkhead Box Protein C1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, where TMB substrate is added, incubated in the dark, and the reaction is stopped prior to absorbance measurement at 450 nm.

Dilutional linearity in serum (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 85–103%, 90–103% and 85–104% respectively; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 88–99%, 87–92% and 83–97%; and heparin plasma (n=5) shows 81–90%, 83–92% and 82–96%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 99% for serum (range 86–105%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 87–104%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 90–105%).

Components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with standards and plate strips also suitable for 12 months at -20°C. The six-step procedure involves a 90 minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes before stop solution addition and reading at 450 nm.
