Human Forkhead box protein P3 (FOXP3) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of human Forkhead box protein P3 (FOXP3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. FOXP3 is a vital transcription factor that plays a critical role in immune regulation, particularly in the development and inhibitory function of regulatory T cells, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune diseases, allergies, and cancer.

The colorimetric assay is reactive with human samples and recognises natural and recombinant human FOXP3 (synonyms: Scurfin, JM2, IPEX). It is intended for research use only and is suited to cancer research applications. The detection range is 0.312–20 ng/mL and the reported sensitivity is 0.23 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 9.5%.

Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum (98–108%, 102–112%, 93–102%, 81–91% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16), EDTA plasma (90–99%, 86–95%, 85–95%, 110–120%), and heparin plasma (85–97%, 90–99%, 101–111%, 80–89%). Recovery averages 101% (range 95–107%) in serum and 103% (range 97–109%) in plasma. The target protein corresponds to UniProt Q9BZS1.
