Folate Receptor beta (FOLR2) is a GPI-anchored cell-surface glycoprotein that binds folate with high affinity and is selectively expressed on tumour-associated macrophages, acute myeloid leukaemia blasts, and a subset of ovarian and endometrial carcinoma cells. Researchers working in cancer immunology, folate-drug-conjugate development, and myeloid-cell biology use quantitative immunoassays such as the Assay Genie FOLR2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit to measure this receptor in conditioned media from cultured human cell lines and in human circulating specimens collected for research purposes.
