Human FOLR2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate quantification of human FOLR2 (Folate Receptor Beta) levels, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric via a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and absorbance measurement at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. The assay operates across a standard range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL, and reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. FOLR2 plays a critical role in folate metabolism and cell growth, with dysregulation linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders and developmental defects, situating the kit within signal transduction research.

Linearity was validated at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8. For serum (n = 5) the ranges were 86-104%, 85-97% and 80-99%; for EDTA plasma (n = 5) 88-103%, 82-93% and 88-99%; and for heparin plasma (n = 5) 82-100%, 86-101% and 82-99%. Spike-recovery performance averaged 93% for serum (n = 5, range 88-102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (n = 5, range 88-99%) and 98% for heparin plasma (n = 5, range 86-101%).
