Human Follistatin-related protein 1 (FSTL1) ELISA Kit

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only. FSTL1 is a secreted protein involved in inflammation, tissue repair, and angiogenesis, and its dysregulation has been linked to arthritis, cardiovascular conditions, and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker in cancer research.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.3%. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) was 100-110%, 97-105%, 84-95% and 112-122% for serum (N=5); 111-119%, 90-100%, 108-116% and 104-114% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 89-101%, 104-113%, 80-93% and 91-101% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery averaged 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human FSTL1.
