From Assay Genie, this Human FLRG PharmaGenie ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of Follistatin-Related Gene protein in human research specimens. The kit is built around a 96-assay strip plate layout, giving laboratories the throughput to evaluate full standard curves alongside unknown samples in a single experimental run.

FLRG, also known as Follistatin-like 3 (FSTL3), is a secreted glycoprotein that binds and modulates several members of the TGF-β superfamily, including activin A, myostatin, and certain bone morphogenetic proteins. Because of this regulatory role, FLRG concentrations are studied in muscle biology, reproductive endocrinology, and metabolic disease research. The kit is validated for use with three specimen types relevant to those investigations: cell culture supernatant, plasma, and serum. This range allows researchers to move between in vitro cell-based experiments and clinical or animal-model studies on the same platform.

Each kit includes a pre-coated capture-antibody microplate, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, reference standard, substrate solution, and wash buffer. The standard protocol follows an incubation-and-wash workflow on a plate shaker, with absorbance read on a conventional microplate reader. Consult the supplied manual for exact incubation times, sample dilution recommendations, and the validated standard curve range before running unknowns. Components should be stored refrigerated upon receipt; reconstituted reagents and working standards should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light where indicated.
