Human FLNA/Filamin A, Alpha ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this is a Sandwich ELISA immunoassay with reactivity against Human Filamin A alpha (FLNA, alias FLNalpha), using a double antibody format for the in vitro quantitative determination of FLNalpha concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only.

Filamin A alpha is a ubiquitous cytoskeletal protein that promotes orthogonal branching of actin filaments and links actin filaments to membrane glycoproteins. It plays roles in cell adhesion, migration and signalling, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders and neurological conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for disease research.

Reported sensitivity is 18.75pg/ml with a working range of 31.25-2000pg/ml. Storage is at 4°C for 6 months. Intra-assay precision is CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) ranged 89-102% (average 95%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 85-104% (average 94%), and in UFH plasma (n=5) 88-101% (average 94%).
