FKBP52 is a 52 kDa immunophilin chaperone that regulates steroid receptor maturation and hormone-responsive gene expression through its peptidyl-prolyl isomerase (PPIase) activity. The protein partners with Hsp90 to modulate androgen, glucocorticoid, and progesterone receptor signaling, and is increasingly studied in the context of tau protein dynamics relevant to neurodegeneration, NF-κB pathway regulation, and microtubule-associated functions in dividing cells.

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric readout and is configured for in vitro research use only with human cell culture supernatants, plasma samples, and serum specimens.
