FKBP1B, also known as FKBP12.6, is a 12.6 kDa immunophilin that modulates calcium release through the cardiac ryanodine receptor (RyR2). This Assay Genie kit equips cardiovascular researchers with a quantitative tool to study excitation-contraction coupling, arrhythmia mechanisms, and calcium-handling pathways in cardiac and smooth muscle. Reagents are supplied for 96 individual determinations, producing an enzyme-based absorbance readout on a standard microplate.
