Human Filaggrin (FLG) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Filaggrin (FLG) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format immunoassay designed for the precise measurement of filaggrin levels in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Filaggrin is a key protein essential for the structural integrity of the skin barrier, and dysregulation of its levels has been linked to skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis.

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with a reported detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.124 ng/mL. Precision performance is documented with an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, while recovery in serum averages 94% (range 88–100%) and in plasma averages 96% (range 90–102%). The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human filaggrin.
