Human Ficolin-3 (FCN3) ELISA Kit

Ficolin-3 is a key component of the innate immune system, functioning as a pattern recognition receptor that plays a role in pathogen recognition and clearance. The assay has a reported detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.34ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%.

The kit recognises natural and recombinant human Ficolin-3 and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Ficolin-3 may function in innate immunity through activation of the lectin complement pathway, acting as a calcium-dependent and GlcNAc-binding lectin with affinity for GalNAc, GlcNAc and D-fucose. Abnormal levels of ficolin-3 have been linked to various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and infectious diseases, making it a relevant biomarker for research.
