Human Fibulin-2 (FBLN2) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed to quantify human Fibulin-2 (FBLN2). The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant human Fibulin-2.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 7.8 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Recovery in serum averages 97% (range 91-103%) and in plasma averages 99% (range 93-105%).

Fibulin-2 is a secreted extracellular matrix protein (UniProt P98095; molecular weight 131,863 Da; chromosomal location 3p25.1) whose binding to fibronectin and certain other ligands is calcium-dependent. It may act as an adapter mediating the interaction between FBN1 and ELN. For research use only.
