Human Fibroleukin (FGL2) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Fibroleukin (FGL2) in human samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids and uses a colorimetric detection method.

Manufacturer-quoted performance figures include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.67pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.5% and inter-assay CV is 8.1%. Dilutional linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 has been assessed in serum (93-118%), EDTA plasma (90-118%) and heparin plasma (81-118%). Spike-and-recovery values are 98% (range 92-104%) for serum and 100% (range 94-106%) for plasma. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant human Fibroleukin.

FGL2, also known as Fibrinogen-like protein 2 or pT49, is described as a secreted disulfide-linked homotetramer that may play a role in physiologic lymphocyte functions at mucosal sites. The kit is intended for immunology research applications and is labelled for research use only.
