Human Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and detects natural and recombinant human FGF21, with a reported detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 12pg/mL.

Precision is stated at an intra-assay CV of 4.1% and an inter-assay CV of 6.3%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 89%, range 83-95%) and plasma (average 91%, range 85-97%). The kit is intended for research use only and is relevant to signal transduction research, where FGF21 is studied as a regulator of glucose and lipid metabolism.
