Human Fibroblast growth factor 20 (FGF20) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Fibroblast growth factor 20 (FGF20; UniProt Q9NP95) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is calibrated across a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL with a stated sensitivity of 10pg/mL and is specific for natural and recombinant human FGF20.

FGF20 is a secreted neurotrophic factor of the heparin-binding growth factor family that regulates central nervous system development and function, signalling through fibroblast growth factor receptors including FGFR2 and FGFR4 with heparan sulfate glycosaminoglycans acting as coreceptors. Reported assay precision includes an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.0%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma with average recovery of 95% for serum (range 89-101%) and 97% for plasma (range 91-103%).
