The Assay Genie Human FHL2 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of human Four and a Half LIM Domains Protein 2 (FHL2) with species-specific detection and no significant cross-reactivity against rodent Fhl2 homologues. FHL2 is a multifunctional transcriptional co-regulator involved in cardiac and skeletal muscle differentiation, integrin signaling, and tumor progression, modulating Wnt/β-catenin, androgen receptor, AP-1, and NF-κB activity, with altered expression reported in breast, prostate, colon, and hepatocellular carcinomas. The microplate-based immunoassay includes a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, chromogenic substrate, and lyophilized recombinant human FHL2 standards. Reconstituted components should be refrigerated and protected from light, while the sealed plate may be kept cold until first use.
